A FEAST FOR EYE & PALATE
an art & wine safari around pafos & polis
Take a break from the hustle of
tourist town.
Head up to the cool of the hills, the green of the
vines and the peace of quaint country villages.
There you will find four different artists’ studios
with doors open to welcome you. Talk to the artists themselves about their work in their own inspirational surroundings.
The suggested loop connecting Pafos and Polis will
take you off the beaten track into a spectacular landscape of vine terraces, mountain views and quiet rural Cyprus.
Complete your exceptional experience by calling in for a tasting at one of the excellent local wineries and enjoying a delicious meal in a village taverna.
Stay late enough and you might see a starlit night sky the like of which you haven’t seen in years.
Mary-Lynne Stadler
Studio 7, snuggly tucked away at the end of a distinctly rural cul-de-sac in picturesque Kallepeia, is where I explore paint, print and mixed media. My most recent work, using a unique combination of acetate and inks, opens the ‘painting’ on your wall in a wholly new dimension.

Having come to art later in life than I would have wished, after several careers and raising a family, I feel I have a lot to catch up on and find the whole business of making art thoroughly exciting. My work is both figurative and abstract, and inspired by all sorts of different stimuli.

I also take commissions and offer tuition While I am most likely to be in the Studio on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, please phone first to be sure, or if you would like to come at other times. Please phone before you call in to the Studio, to make sure that I am there.

Kay Davenport, Resin Artist

I painted contemporary pet portraits for over 15 years in the UK using oils and watercolours, but have been working solely with resin for the past 5 years.
Since arriving in Cyprus from the UK in the summer of 2007 I have been creating my resin artwork in the idyllic surroundings of the beautiful village of Drymou.
Each piece takes on the appearance of hot molten coloured glass that has been poured on to a canvas leaving a vibrant colourful contemporary splash.
You can expect a very warm welcome and a refreshing cold drink on your visit to my home/studio during your Art Safari.

Due to location, please telephone before travelling to avoid disappointment.

Keith Walker

Keith opened the Walker Gallery in 2004 after retiring from over 30 years in full-time art education.
He likes to work with a variety of media from direct observation as well as his own photographs, and to develop these studies into abstract compositions, sometimes combining text with images. Trained as a painter and printmaker, you can also see examples of his pottery and photography in his studio.
He willingly accepts commissions and provides student centred tuition to meet personal interests.

Keith is generally at work in his studio from Wednesday to Friday, 11a.m. – 5 p.m. throughout the year, but be sure to phone before setting out or planning a visit.
